Last week, Viet Han Engineering (VHE) held an internal training session under the theme “Organizing a Lean Operating Model & Managing Work Results by Objectives”. The initiative aimed to enhance management capabilities, optimize operational performance, and foster continuous improvement thinking across the organization.

Understanding the Essence of a Lean Operating Model
During the training, VHE employees were introduced to the fundamentals of Lean Thinking – a management philosophy focused on identifying and eliminating waste throughout production and operational processes.

By applying a Lean Operating Model, VHE strives to maximize value for customers, reduce process inefficiencies, minimize errors, and improve resource utilization. Participants were also introduced to effective lean improvement tools that can be practically implemented to create a more flexible and sustainable production system.
Effective Work Management Through Clear Objectives

Another key part of the program focused on Work Management by Objectives (MBO). Employees learned how to set clear goals, monitor progress, and evaluate performance using transparent, measurable criteria.
This approach ensures that individual objectives align with the company’s strategic goals, empowering team members to take greater ownership of their work results while contributing to the overall performance and efficiency of the organization.
Towards Lean Operations and Sustainable Growth

The training not only deepened employees’ understanding of the Lean Operating Model but also provided practical insights into performance management and continuous improvement — essential elements driving Viet Han Engineering’s sustainable growth.
