Safety – The Core Value in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain
20/11/2025
In the field of fabrication, manufacturing, and installation of heavy industrial mechanical systems—where every component weighs tons, and every pipeline spans hundreds of meters—”safety” is more than just a slogan. Safety is positioned at the center of our entire supply chain—from vendor selection and material quality control, to transportation and the on-site installation process.
Vendor Selection: Adhering to ISO and HSE Standards
VHE’s supplier evaluation and management system is based on stringent international standards: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Safety & Health), and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management).
Every partner integrated into our supply chain must pass a rigorous Vendor Pre-Qualification (PQ) process, which includes:
Verification of ISO/HSE certifications.
Assessment of production processes and operational safety at the supplier’s facility.
Verification of equipment and material documentation against international standards (API, ASTM, ASME, etc.).
We choose partners not just for price, but for their reliability and commitment to operational safety.
Quality and Safety Control in the Supply Chain
At VHE’s manufacturing facility, all handling, loading/unloading, and storage activities adhere strictly to the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocol. This ensures that every material—whether a small component or a large piece of equipment—is treated with caution and according to established safety standards.
Tight Material Control: Rigorous inventory control is maintained from the moment materials enter the warehouse until they are dispatched. This minimizes errors, reduces the risk of damage, and ensures a reliable supply for project deadlines.
Optimized Storage: Storage areas are scientifically arranged and clearly identified, optimizing space and fostering a safe working environment for personnel.
Concurrently, our operational team receives regular training on safety awareness, proper inventory management, and arrangement. Warehouse management is not just about material control—it is about protecting the safety of people, equipment, and the entire supply chain.
People Training: The Focus of Operational Safety
No system is strong enough if its people are not properly equipped. VHE maintains a regular training program for engineers, logistics staff, warehouse personnel, and subcontractors, focusing on three core competencies:
HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
Training on equipment standards, fire prevention, and safe lifting operations.
Fostering awareness of a safe working environment and individual responsibility.
Lean Manufacturing
For many years, VHE has integrated the Lean Manufacturing philosophy into its entire supply and production process. Practical Lean applications at VHE include:
Warehouse layout optimized for traffic flow, reducing material search time by 25%.
One Point Lesson (OPL) standards to help employees easily learn and adhere to procedures.
Kaizen Safety Board—a continuous improvement board allowing the team to update safety initiatives monthly.
Emergency Response Planning
Practice drills for emergency situations and incident response plans during transportation and installation.
Regular updates in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
For VHE, training is not just compliance—it is a long-term investment in productivity.
Inspection, Certification, and Transparency
VHE’s entire process is closely monitored by the internal QA/QC department and independent assessment organizations. Before any product leaves the facility, it is accompanied by:
Inspection Report according to API/ASME standards.
Material Test Certificate confirming origin and technical specifications.
Checklist verifying compliance with all HSE standards before dispatch.
Every step is transparent—every result is digitally stored and easily traceable in our management system.
The Foundation of Sustainable Value
Safety not only helps projects finish on time but also protects trust, reputation, and people—factors that cannot be measured solely by cost. At VHE, we do not view it as a requirement from the client—it is a self-imposed commitment of a business striving for international standards. We deliver more than just equipment—we deliver confidence through a safe, efficient, and sustainable supply chain.
